During the winter months, the Schlechinger area of Ache valley is ideal for ski tours on mount Geigelstein and also offers nursery slopes for children, complete with a lift at nearby Ettenhausen. Further attractions include about 50 kilometres of skiing trails as well as specially prepared cross-country ski runs on undemanding terrain; ice-skating on the lake at Zellersee; winter mountain hiking; tobogganing; a ski school, and the possibility to hire skiing and sporting equipment.  |
